My top 5 favorite makeup finds in 2016
With so many makeup options on the market today it’s hard to choose just 5 products to share with you BUT I did and here is what I loved the most in 2016 and what I look forward to acquiring in 2017! I guess it’s time to fill up this makeup case with new and fabulous makeup finds. #FillTheKit
Tarte Hybrid Gel Foundation: Can I just say I fell in love with this foundation. I wear it all day and it lasts all day maintaining full coverage plus gives me ample moisture balance on my skin.
Younique Eye Liner (purposeful): What can I say this limited edition long wearing eye liner in a plum color was my everyday go to for not only my eyes but as a plum colored lip liner that never smeared, smudged or feathered! BAM it was the bomb!
Bobbi Brown Intensifying Long Wear Mascara: I loved this compact yet powerful tube of mascara. Glides on smooth with no clumps and the small tip got even the lil’ lashes in my inner corner. It fit easily in my mini-makeup on the go kit that I stash in my purse and it had the smooth application to take my daytime lashes to full on luxe lashes for night time party wear.
Tarte LipSurgence: This long wearing LipSurgence product from Tarte lasted all day and didn’t leave my lips feeling dry or crusty! The color was fearless in a deep pink that I usually topped with a matte color in cream. The only downside to this product was it had a slight taste that I didn’t care for. I prefer products with no taste.
My #1 favorite product of 2016
Lune+Aster Bronzer/Blush: I’m going to admit it! I used this product everyday from the day I bought it in Aug of 2016. It was so easy to contour with the bronzer and the pink blush was perfect for my skin tone. I honestly don’t know what I will do if they stop making this product because I love it that much! So if you pick only one new product up in 2017 which I know you won’t but if you do, make it this one. It ROCKS!
What am I looking forward to in 2017?
I’m gonna jump in and get the Trish McEvoy Power of Makeup Planner Collection it looks yummy and a must have for 2017!
